Eric Fairhurst - Saxophones, Clarinet & Flute

Eric Fairhurst was born and raised in Wooster, OH, having played in the city school music program before majoring in Music Education at Bowling Green State University. It was there he studied under the formidable skills of Dr. John Sampen (mustec.bgsu.edu/~jsampen) on saxophone, specializing primarily in the tenor sax. In later years Eric’s approach to the saxophone, clarinet, and flute have been highly influenced by the under-appreciated musicianship of Robert Ackerman in Irvington, NJ. Under Bob’s tutelage, Eric primarily plays American vintage instruments and mouthpieces.

Eric is married with three children and loves his work as Chaplain of Westview Manor, a local elder care facility. In addition he maintains a small, private woodwind studio, and loves reading historical fiction and spiritual life literature.

Andy grew up in Worthington, OH in a musical family.  Both his brothers, who reside in the Columbus area, are also working musicians.  He's played in folk, pop and cover bands over the course of 40 years of playing.  His study of harmony and theory led him irretrievably to playing jazz.  His influences on the guitar are Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, Jim Hall and Ed Bickert.

Andy is married with two grown (and musical!) children.  He and his wife Annette run a small business -Coiltek  - in Wadsworth, OH.

Ed Rindfleisch - Bass

Ed is originally from Cleveland. His dad was a big band drummer, and Ed was steeped in jazz from a young age.  Ed has more professional performance experience than anybody in the band.  He's had stints in wedding and cover bands and a long association with a latin dance band.  Moreover, Ed is a legit player too.  He performs with the Wooster and Tuscarawus Symphony Orchestras.
